Cool!

Energy-efficiency standards for air conditioners have finally made their way out of court and bitter negotiations, as the New York Times reports. Before long, they'll start trimming energy consumption. Better than regulatory standards, however, would be feebates. They do a better job of getting prices to tell the truth.
